Helping a food retailer initiate new business from the ground up
A food retailer initiating new business needed help with its full infrastructure. Agility saved the customer significant costs by renting out space for logistics offices and food production. The space included a hygiene area adjacent to the production area, where goods could be packed at 0 to 4 degrees Celsius, or stored for pre- or post-production at minus 20 degrees Celsius. A dedicated Agility employee helped with inventory management and with handling incoming and outgoing products. The sequence of services Agility provided not only saved the customer on working area expenses, but also on costs associated with labor and inventory management. The customer is now fully operational.
Keeping a global humanitarian organization’s supplies response-ready
A global humanitarian organization needed inventory management for three different remote locations across Lebanon, as well as storage for its donated goods. Agility offered to provide 4PL warehousing for those three locations, strategically located to sensitive areas so that they could serve local populations with supplies in the event they were cut off by sudden crisis. These locations became supply hubs with a dedicated Agility employee and staff on standby 24 hours a day to respond. Agility’s warehousing stored the bulk of the organization’s donated goods – both basic humanitarian supplies as well as school supplies that could be organized, kitted and delivered to children in need.
